Volunteering
Volunteering at the Puna Sustentable Foundation is a free, supportive, and unpaid form of participation, through which people from diverse territorial, cultural, and professional backgrounds join projects, causes, and actions aligned with the principles of environmental justice, local development, and interculturality.
This volunteer program is characterized by its ethical commitment, its connection to the indigenous communities of the Puna region, and its active contribution to building a more equitable and sustainable society. It does not generate an employment or contractual relationship, but it does entail responsibilities and recognition within the institutional structure.
Hello everyone, my name is Nelson Alexander Choque, a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at UNJu, specializing in Cost Management and Higher Education. Today, I have the great privilege of introducing myself not only as a professional but also as a volunteer committed to the social work carried out by this foundation.
I decided to offer my time and knowledge because I am convinced that there is no greater professional success than serving others. Each of us has unique skills, and when those abilities are put at the service of a cause, they become powerful tools for transforming realities.
To the young professionals listening today, I want to say something from the heart:
Don't wait until you "have time" or are "ready" to help.
The perfect time to get involved is now.
Working at the PUNA SUSTENTABLE Foundation means understanding that "When we share what we know, we multiply opportunities; when we give from the heart, we ignite hope."
Therefore, I invite you to join us. To dedicate their talent, their vocation, and their energy to causes that matter.
Because every professional who volunteers, giving a portion of their time, always leaves a mark that can change the course of lives.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this space and for the opportunity to continue growing together, serving with humility, commitment, and hope.
